TASTING NOTE

Oloroso BC200 is one of Osborne’s Rare Sherry releases, drawn from a historic solera associated with the BC 200 designation. It is a very old oxidative wine, presented in 50cl format and described by specialist sources as having an average age of around 40 years.

Dark mahogany, with dried fig, soy, black pepper, dried apple, orange peel, bay leaf and star anise. The palate is round and rich, combining savoury and sweet old-solera tones, with wood spice, molasses, fig, maple and honey carrying into a long candied-fruit finish.
