TASTING NOTE

Oloroso Solera India is part of Osborne’s Rare Sherry collection, an old off-dry Oloroso-style wine made from Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez aged together. Specialist sources describe it as approximately 80% Palomino and 20% Pedro Ximénez, with an average age around 25 years and a 50cl presentation.

Dark mahogany, with dried fig, soy, black pepper, dried apple, orange peel, bay leaf, star anise and old-wood depth. The palate is round, rich and lightly sweet, with dried fruit, wood spice, molasses and mature acidity carrying a persistent old-solera finish.
